Sweet Broccoli-Flower Salad Sweet Broccoli-Flower Salad

No one turns their noses up at broccoli when you serve it dressed with the sweet and sour ingredients here.

INGREDIENTS

1 pound fresh broccoli flowers, coarsely chopped (discard stems or reserve for another recipe)
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
6 slices quality bacon (maple or honey cured, preferred), cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup finely chopped white onion, vidalia preferred

METHOD

Steam the broccoli for about 3 minutes or until crisp tender and bright green. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, honey, and vinegar; add the broccoli flowers and toss gently to coat. Stir in the bacon, raisin, and onion, tossing well. Serve.
