Thanksgiving Dinner Sandwich Thanksgiving Dinner Sandwich

Pile dark turkey meat on a roll, add leftover cranberry sauce and some greens and cheese, and this satisfying sandwich gives new life to leftovers. It's a tasty way of using the dark meat that would ordinarily be left on your Thanksgiving Day platter.

INGREDIENTS
6 hard (Kaiser-style) rolls
6 tablespoons butter
_ garlic powder
1/2 cup (or more, if desired) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1 pound dark (or white) meat turkey
12 thin slices Provolone cheese
1 cup alfalfa or broccoli sprouts

METHOD

Slice the rolls in half lengthwise. Spread each half of the roll with butter and sprinkle generously with garlic powder. Place the rolls on a baking sheet coated with DuPont SilverStone® non-stick. Slide the rolls under the broiler at least four inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until the butter is melted and golden. Remove from the broiler and spread the cranberry sauce onto the bottom half of each roll. Evenly divide the meat among the 6 rolls, and add 2 slices cheese per sandwich and top with sprouts. Slice in half and serve.
