METHOD
|
|
Begin
by making the croutons. Preheat oven to 300°. Cut the bread
slices into bite-size cubes. Toss the melted butter and bread cubes
in a bowl with a fork. Add sugar and cinnamon to a plastic bag.
Place the croutons in the bag and shake until well coated. Transfer
the cubes to a baking sheet coated with DuPont SilverStone®
non-stick and bake for 10 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
While
the croutons bake, prepare the soup by pureeing the strawberries
in a blender with the apple juice. Add the remaining soup ingredients
and blend until smooth. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Garnished
with the sweet croutons, an edible flower or a strawberry.
